DAYTONA BEACH, FL - Tuesday, July 11, 2023 – The Presidential Search Committee has begun its review of applications and this review will continue for the next few weeks. Selection of candidates for first round interviews is anticipated to take place in August. DAYTONA BEACH, FL. – Friday, Feb 25, 2023 - The Presidential Search Committee finished the development of the presidential profile that will guide the selection of B-CU's next president. The position of president has been posted to cookman.eduThe Chronicle of Higher Education, and Higher Ed Jobs. The Committee has now completed two-thirds of the search process and will proceed to review applications.

DAYTONA BEACH, FL. – Friday, Jan 25, 2023 - At a meeting of the Bethune-Cookman University Presidential Search Committee, the Committee voted to retain the services of a global search firm to assist in identifying the eighth president of the institution. The vote marked an important milestone in the search for the University's next chief executive officer. The Committee will now focus on developing a presidential profile for the position.

University has begun its search for the University's eighth President. The search process will
include a multi-step approach and upon conclusion, we will make an announcement.
Beginning with its Founder, Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, the University has been led by
outstanding visionary leaders. Selecting the next individual to lead the University is both an
opportunity and a challenge enthusiastically embraced by Bethune-Cookman University's Board
of Trustees. Our next President will appreciate and desire to preserve the rich legacy of Dr.
Mary McLeod Bethune while boldly leveraging the University's global footprint toward strategic
